The price is also really competitive, making Lehman Locke Hotel one of the best places to stay in London on your trip there alone or with family.

2. The Good Hotel
The Good Hotel London is not just called good for the sound of it. This hotel is a non-profit organisation – a social business initiative which re-invests all their profits to train long-term unemployed local people in London and educate disadvantaged children in Guatemala. Motel One is probably my favourite hotel chain in Europe and one of the best places to stay in London. It has a unique style and good quality everything, starting from the facilities, bedsheets, toiletries and ending with coffee and gin selection in the bar. Brussels, Berlin or London – it is a hotel you can always count on.

Why I like it | Motel One has a distinct style and it is exactly the one I like. Comfy, bold, but not overbearing. And while adventures are fun, sometimes it’s great to know exactly what you can expect from your hotel room, lounge and breakfast.

The absolutely beautiful Exhibitionist Hotel is set in restored 18th-century townhouses which combine original design and contemporary finishes including bespoke furnishings. K West is 4-star boutique hotel is located in Shepherd’s Bush, just a 5-minute walk from Shepherd’s Bush Underground and overground stations and Westfield London shopping centre. It features an award-winning K SPA with the herbal steam room, hydrotherapy pool and foot baths.

Why I like it | London is huge, so whatever you do, you’ll end up walking miles and getting knackered by the end of the day. There’s nothing better than having a spa right in the hotel to relax in the evening.
Features | Well, the spa of course, and for a surprisingly decent price for London standards. And as a nice bonus – a very good location, from which you can easily reach all the sights.

CitizenM London is another stylish contemporary hotel chain, so you can find their hotels in several locations in London. It’s so modern that you will have free iMac’s and printing service, which can be a nice bonus. It also has this nice feature of “citizenM says” quotes posted on walls, paper cups and doormats, which will keep you entertained throughout your stay.

Right in the centre of South Kensington, Ampersand Hotel is comfortable with just a little, not an overbearing touch of luxury. It has a great gym and even better food selection, and I as a great appreciator of both is a big fan of this hotel.

Located right in Leicester Square, next to Soho and Westend, W Hotel adds to it great interior design, a spa with sauna and a cocktail bar which is so good, you are risking not actually venturing out, but spending all your evenings right there.

Why I like it | Mostly because of those hedgehog-like room additions. Oh, and unbeatable location of course.

The Rockwell Hotel is located in the city centre, but it feels a bit more like a traditional and cosy Bed and Breakfast somewhere in the English countryside. Come here to relax and recharge, while also exploring the city.
